Report: Apple’s iOS 6 Maps app can do 3D A preview of the Maps app reportedly destined for iOS 6 has surfaced on the Web and appears to come with the ability to display images in 3D, according to BGR. It’s high time for a proper update of the map app. And considering the feud with Google, I guess Apple has been at work with migrating from Google Maps for some time. But it has to take its time, the new app must work flawlessly. 3D might be fun but dare we hope fore some turn-by-turn navigation as well?

It’s high time for a proper update of the map app. And considering the feud with Google, I guess Apple has been at work with migrating from Google Maps for some time.
